Mother's Day Weekend

What an amazing weekend we had. It was also my mom's birthday so we had a very busy weekend.

We had a birthday dinner, state cup soccer game for my niece, and mother's day brunch.

I also made a box of cards for my mom and my sister for mother's day. They like to have blank cards to give out instead of buying them at the store, so I thought a collection of my cards for different occasions would be a nice gift for them.

This amazing box to hold the cards was designed by The Efficient Crafter. The directions were easy to follow and such a great way to hold a collection of 12-16 cards. This one I made for my mom. I put 12 cards in it that all had embellishments.

I then made a bit smaller one for my sister that held 6 cards. This box is a little bit different. This design came from Stamp Your Art Out. She has a great tutorial for this box on her site. These are really amazing boxes of cards. I really love how they turned out. I got my pre-order products from Stampin' Up!, and the Sweet Sugarplum has got to be my favorite.

Saturday - we spend the hot afternoon at my niece's soccer game. She was in the final game for the Oregon State Cup, and her 14U girls team, took 1st!!! Now they are on to the regional's tournament in Boise in June. So exciting. We have sure enjoyed watching her these past few weeks. She is quite the ball player!

Mother's Day Brunch spent with my mom and my sister was followed up by a wonderful afternoon of flowers, gifts and cards from my girls. Mother's Day the movie with my kiddos, and then my hubby took us all out to dinner. What  an amazing weekend we had. It was truly great!!!

Happy Mother's Day to Me! :)

Count me first in line if you decide to sell boxes of your beautiful cards, Nicole. I'd much rather buy from you than give my money to a store for cards that aren't even half as pretty. :)
Love, Judy
