Happy Valentines Day

Yeah...I love today. :) I made my honey and my kiddos some cupcake boxes filled with candy. I got them a few other things each, but I wanted to share my Cricut designs. I couldn't do so earlier, because they all watch this blog, so I had to be secret. :) I designed these cupcake boxes with DS using George & Sweet Treats.  I hope everyone has a great Valentines Day too. I know most of you will have made things for your family too. :) More fun today to come. :)

Marry me, Nicole

That is what the banner said that hung down off the middle bridge of Multnomah Falls. And, of course, I said...yes...yes...yes!!!

Last week Ned asked me to go shooting with him Sunday morning. Shooting as in photography shooting. We drove along the Columbia Gorge in Oregon and looked at waterfalls and stopped and photographed them...and kissed in front of them. It was a very fun romantic morning. We went to the fish hatchery and then off to lunch. After lunch we headed to Multnomah Falls to check out that falls.  We've done this several times, but today was definitely different. He asked to take a picture of me in front of the falls...and I obliged.lol.  Before taking the pic, he said.."Look" and pointed up to the falls. I turned and the banner opened up. I was dumbfounded, and immediately knew it was for me. I turned back to Ned...and he got down on one knee...asking me to marry him. :) I said yes of course.  I turned back around and held up my arms...and said "That's for me!" I waved to those holding the banner, for it was my children. :) I had thought they were at a Superbowl party with friends...little did I know that it was all a hoax. Ned had that planned so that Renee would bring the kids to the waterfall, so that they could be the one's to hold the banner. After I said yes...people all around us cheered and clapped, one couple even took our picture for themselves.lol.  It was the most romantic proposal ever. When Ned gave me the ring, it was in a little purse shaped jewelry box that had our names engraved. What an amazing day. :) I was thrilled.
