A little of everything including a GIVEAWAY!!!

I mean really.....sneaking out in your skates????? I would have done it too, Snowden. :)

Forever, I have loved the Snowden snowmen from Target. They line my stairs during the holiday season, and if it happens to snow a little, then 1 of them often sneaks outside to sit in the beautiful snow. Can you blame him?

I don't know how much busier I can get during this season. Between crafting and stamping and working and shopping and wrapping and playing and..and...and.......is Christmas really this weekend??????? Oh goodness!

Every year I think of ornament to make for my family. I have done it for more than 10 years now. I try to get them to everyone on Thanksgiving, so that when they get their tree up in the beginning of December, then they have it ready to add to the collection. But more often than not nowadays I'm lucky to get them to everyone on Christmas Eve. It is fun to look at my sister's and brother's trees though and see all the ornaments that I have made them over the years. :) So here is this years...an idea of my husbands :) It does look nice and he even helped me put them together. We can't wait to give them out.

Well this week as Christmas approaches and things are busy, I was reminded of one of the most wonderful easy things that Stampin' Up! offers. The monthly Paper Pumpkin box. It comes complete with everything you need to make the project that they have designed. Sometimes it's cards, other times gift card holders, or treat holders. What I love is that it is always a surprise :) Every month I receive this fun box with directions and all the supplies needed. Your first box even includes an acrylic block to keep and it will always fit the stamps in your kits. The stamp sets that you get in the Paper Pumpkin kits are exclusive to Paper Pumpkin and they cannot be purchased separately. The other cool thing....if there is one project that you just love and you want to make more....you can order refill kits. It's so nice, because you don't have to think too much if you don't want to....you can just follow the directions in the box and have a finished project in 30 min, or you can add some of your own items and create something brand new. It's up to you. This was November's box and I just loved it. So wintery :)

CHRISTMAS WEEK GIVEAWAY is a 1 month prepaid subscription to PAPER PUMPKIN!!!! If you want to continue past that point, you may sign up, but my giveaway is for 1 month. It's so easy. Just go to my facebook page @thestampinrn and comment on the Giveaway link or leave a comment here. Also if you like my page, it will enter you a 2nd time into the drawing. I will draw a winner on Christmas Eve and announce the winner on my facebook page as well as here. I can't wait for someone to win this and be able to see what Paper Pumpkin is all about :)

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas :)

ohhhh....and Sale-a-bration and the Occasions Catalog starts next month. Not only do you get free stuff from Stampin' Up!, you won't believe the freebies I'm offering with orders...make sure you are on my newsletter list! If not .... sign up here by clicking and then entering your email into the "receive my newsletter" box. You really won't want to miss it. The new catalog will start Jan 4, and you should have my newsletter by Jan 3rd. But you have to request it :)

A little snow & ice

I am so lucky to get to work from home. :) This is the view from my office window upstairs. It had snowed this week and this was the day that the ice that had covered the snow just started to melt. Oh how I wish my office was downstairs with a big window that I could look out of all the time to catch the beauty of the seasons. I live in the Northwest and we have some beautiful seasons throughout the year. Each season very apparent.

It was so fitting to start out this cold December morning with some hot chocolate with some yummy whip cream on top. Oh how I love this season. I have been so consumed with making Christmas Cards and tags for gifts with all my Stampin' Up! stuff that I have not had the pleasure of unpacking this box!!!!!

OH YES!!!!! This is the Occasions Catalog that starts on January 4, 2017. This interim catalog has lots of fun stuff...and what makes it even better.....It will be Sale-a-bration time. Do you know what that means? For every $50 spent in the main catalog or this Occasions catalog, you get a free item from the Sale-a-bration Catalog. There are things like stamp sets, paper and even a card tin. And you know that aside from Sale-a-bration that I will be doing my own freebies in January as well. So it's a fabulous deal all the way around.

For those that are already my customers, a copy of these new catalogs will be sent out to you this week :)

Don't forget...This is still a good option for you

This is the Stampin' Scrub ($17) and Stampin' Mist ($4.50) to clean your stamps as you use them.

You can have them for FREE as a special gift from me. HOW?

Confirm with me before Dec 14th,(I'm gonna extend this to Dec 24th...because if I'm busy...I know you're busy) that you will do an online party in January with your friends. As long as you have that party and have at least 1 order, I will send this to you as a gift from me. That is in addition to any Rewards and Freebies that you get from Stampin' Up! for your party. It's easy....it's online...via Facebook. You will have your own hostess code and all you have to do is invite your friends online. I can even do a live demonstration for you if you like. But let me know via email at nicern1@gmail.com so that I can get you marked down for getting this additional free gift from me.

I hope you all enjoy the holidays and a little snow wherever you may be. :)

Christmas always comes to quickly for me

Hi everyone! Yes...Christmas always comes so quickly for me. Here's me and my momma the night before Thanksgiving up in Long Beach, WA. We had a nice dinner out with my family and my sister's family before heading back to the condo to make pies for Thanksgiving.

I cooked the Thanksgiving meal and we had a wonderful time watching football, movies, eating, and laughing

On Saturday after Black Friday we came home from the beach and got the Christmas Lights up during the few dry hours. December 1 is my husband's birthday, so that evening was filled with celebration!

Now it's 3 weeks before Christmas and I still have a ton of crafts to do, definitely some card making and stamping, and most of all I want to do the things that truly matter with my family. You know the time you spend together looking at the neighborhood Christmas lights or going to that special singing Christmas Tree or light display in your town. It's watching Christmas movies together. And truly...it's just loving the reason that we celebrate this season...Jesus.

It always goes by so quickly, honestly I wish the season lasted longer. I just need to stop and take the time to take in all the sights and smells.

I hope that your holiday season is going well and that you too get to enjoy it with family and friends, and that it doesn't fly by too fast.

:)
