MOJO Monday Sketch Challenge

So...I'm online looking at all the craft blogs...and I check on Mojo Monday...thinking I don't possibly have enough time to make anything, but I'd like to check it out at least.

Well...I then decide...ya know...I do have a lot of work to do...but.........I'll just try it anyway.lol

What I found out was that I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Cricut Imagine. I didn't have to search through all my paper boxes to find paper that matched. I simply grabbed a cartridge, chose an item that I liked and then all of the other pieces coordinate colors. Each cartridge has so many coordinating colors and patterns that it makes it so easy for me to pick out items for a card. It was the easiest card that I have made and was such easy cleanup too. I'll definitely be doing more card challenges. Another reason I like the card challenges is because then I have cards ready to go when I need something quickly. :)

What a great evening :)

Creme Brulee :)

Another thing that I got for Christmas from my husband was items to make Creme Brulee, a cookbook, a mini torch and the ceramic dishes. In Las Vegas I fell in love with Creme Brulee and became very interested in making it. I did so for the first time today. :) I must say that I did a very good job, following the recipe perfectly and it turned out very delicious :) It is actually rather easy to make, but it takes time to let things cool and such between steps.

MOJO Monday Sketch Challenge

Hi there :) So I decided to start out the new year participating in a challenge. I was so very spoiled again this Christmas and my husband got me a Cricut Imagine :) On Christmas day, I practiced and played all day with the Imagine. I wasn't making anything particular, but thought I would use what I printed on a project, and this is one of said projects. :) Last night I was looking through the blogs that I follow ( I have to admit, I haven't been following them like I like to, I've been so busy with the wedding and then Christmas). After looking at the Mojo site, I decided I should just break out my printed things from my Imagine and put something together...and that is what I did. :)

I can't wait to start creating more things and participating more in crafting things. :)
